Forget

Forget

A Poem by LivingDeath

Drops of blood
replace my tears,
from all this s**t
from all these years.

For all I want
is to forget my past,
but as much as I try
it always lasts.

Forget the pain
of slitting wrists,
forget the mess
from bloody fists.

Forget the lows
from all the highs,
forget the shame
from blood shot eyes.

Forget the stress
since last December,
forget how I hate
with all I remember.

Sounds like there's a lot of past that has had it's payments. I used to do the hole cutting thing but gave up on it. I didn't see the point anymore. I hope that don't do this still.

I love the rhyme scheme of this poem. It's excellently written, and is so sadly passionate.
