The Darkness

The Darkness

A Poem by LivingDeath
"

The take off in a plane at night put into a poetic form of emotions

"
Ember red specs
amongst the black quilt,
until darkness takes over
and all the lights wilt.

Into the sea of darkness
with nothing to be seen,
no stars, no moon, no land below
this darkness is obscene.

Surrounded by the emptiness
surrounded by the dark,
surrounded by the nothingness
of this long embark.

Soon to see the light again
and feel the suns warm glow,
but for now the darkness controls the night
this darkness continues to grow.

Poem is very good. Darkness is always around us. We need hope and the desire of daylight to keep us going forward. A outstanding poem. I like the feel and the ending.

i really liked this. but maybe go over it again, and smooth out the flow a little. like eliminate a few words and add a few here and there.

I like the darkness, I did use to travel about for walks late at night but I got attacked a few times (rough area) so I stopped doing it.

Still, I really like the dark. Good piece.
