Missing You

Missing You

A Poem by LivingDeath

I miss you more then words can say
and more then I can show,
half way across this lonesome planet
I'm wishing I could go.

Go to where I first met you
to feel your warm embrace,
to hold you in my open arms
and talk to you face to face.

Hear your words that make me smile
and the jokes that make me laugh,
with the things we share in common
it's like you're my other half.

I miss you more then I can show
and more then these words can say,
I can't wait to see your face again
I'll be back for you one day.

i really liked this! the flow was good, though in different stanzas it was different, it worked. the idea was nice. i thought you could have used a little more anger in this one.
The last line i think, was the perfect ending. the determination literally pounced out at me! it was overall, a really really good write!

This is a beautiful, bittersweet write, taking us over time and those miles that separate you from your soulmate... Wonderful form and flow, your last lines share the hope of that meeting again one day...

Nicely done, this is a very good poem. It's deeply romantic and yet kind of depressing. I love the rhyme and the story in the poem. Very good.

A very good poem. Separation create more desire and need. I like the story and the ending. A outstanding poem.
