Christina MariaA Poem by LivingDeathDon't get rid of your necklace don't throw your ring away, I might not be there now but I'll be back for you one day. Keep my heart close by for it will always remain yours, when I come sweep you off your feet we can walk the ocean shores. I still remember all we shared with the memories and the moments, from waking in your little bed to all our sarcastic comments. And when we first met the excuses we made, to hold each others hand our smiles wouldn't fade. Underneath those concrete steps I asked you to be mine, my life started then you made my smile shine. You made my life worth living you made me truly smile, I still love you with all my heart though we're separated by these miles. I still remember the spot we found where we spent every weekday lunch, right beside the gymnasium doors I miss those times so much. Moments come and go like that but our memories will remain, I'll be back for you one day and we'll make more memories again.
