From The Skies Above

From The Skies Above

A Poem by LivingDeath

Her eyes defy the stars
and touch my crippled soul,
she picked me up when I was down
and filled a bleeding hole.

Her voice defies the angels
and takes away my pain,
she filled what wasn't there before
what used to be just shame.

I miss her face when I'm alone
and dream of her sweet kiss,
I think of her each day and night
but she stays amongst the mist.

I will hold her in my arms again
whenever that will be,
like an angel fallen from the skies above
she soars through me so free.

Her eyes defy the stars
and touch my crippled soul,
she picked me up when I was down
and filled a bleeding hole.

Oh my! I LOVED this! I love how everything just flows so smoothly together. I love the rhyme scheme you chose. It fits perfectly. I also really like how you repeated the first stanza in the end. I could see this being a song. Great, great, GREAT piece! :)
