How The Broken Feel (Nobody Knows)

How The Broken Feel (Nobody Knows)

A Poem by LivingDeath
"

My first write i put up... Revised it and changed it up a bit. Tell me what you think.

"
Nobody knows the pain I feel
the wounds on my body are painfully real,
but the pain I feel i will not show
because nobody will care, so why should they know.
The cuts on my wrists are red and deep
but the things you've said have made them bleed,
a simple I'm sorry cannot mend my heart
this depressing time will leave its mark.
I'm sorry for the grief i have brought
but now you know I can't be bought,
and the pain I feel I will not show
for nobody will care, so why should they know.
Nobody will know the pain I feel
and these wounds you've caused
they will not heal.
for this is life and this is real....
This is how the broken feel.

I am a huge fan of depressing writes. This was extremely deep, dark, and meaningful. I like the flow of it and the rhyming was perfect. It's emotion was grand and as I read it, I felt as though I could feel the pain. I truly do love this poem. It's one of the greatest dark writes I've read. :)

This is so true in so many ways. People keep things like this bottled up inside because they wonder what would be the use of people knowing? And thats why depression is such a fearce thing. We hurt ourselves and think nobody cares and nobody can help. I totally know how you feel.

Once again...I love it.

I relate to this a lot, so of course i like it :P Though, in the 5th to last line, i think that you might want to insert a comma after "care", like you did in the 4th line. Also, when i was reading it, the 6th line, the second part of it "cut even deeper", i replaced that with "made them bleed" in my mind and it sounded better to me. Just an suggestion :) Overall, very nice poem.

This is dripping with emotion, and a very "real pain". It shows depression but something like anger. Very nice :)

You are great with spilling your emotions into every word. It's as if I can feel your pain. The rhyming is effortless and everything flows so well. Overall another great piece.

Sadness and anger is voiced strongly in the poem. The flow and story was very good. I found nothing wrong with your poem. You wanted to describe pain and anger. You did.
