My Love

My love is vast and deep and whole

just like the open sea,

it will go on forevermore

into eternity.

 

When I looked you in the eye that day

I thought it was a dream,

you were so perfect it had to be

oh how your brown eyes gleamed.

 

The next day came and I saw you there

a smile on your face,

I embraced you in my open arms

no one could take your place.

 

I fell for you that very day

your lips a silky smooth,

our love has grown over the months

I never want to move.

 

My love is vast and deep and whole
