R.I.P DanielA Poem by LivingDeathTo my moms best friend, my second mom, my bestest friend. May your soul rest in peace. The black glass on the lonesome bridge took another life.
A life I loved for all my life and to this bitter day.
My mom, my aunt, my sister my friend she was closer then all.
Spun out of control into the other lane a semi that couldn't stop.
My heart skipped a beat when her heart stopped that day on that lonesome bridge.
Her open arms would take me in with every time she saw me I couldn't help but smile.
Now shes gone a voice in the wind a memory in my heart.
The black glass on the lonesome bridge has taken the life from me. © 2009 LivingDeathReviews
