Blind

Blind

A Poem by LivingDeath

Nobody sees the blind these days

When it’s the blind that see us everyday.

We walk on past them as if we’re better

Like there not even there.

But they see us more then you know

They see us for what we don’t show.

They see what we really are

And raise humanities bar.

If only we could be like them

Go blind to see each other when

It’s the blind that sees us everyday

When we don’t see them any day.

Oh wow. Ths is so true. Outward apperences mean nothing to them. Its personality and attitude they see. They bypass everything we look for at first and go right to the things we tend to ignore, the things that really matter.

Wonderful as usual :]

How true. The person who is blind can't see the superficial persona that a person hides behind. They see the truth. Great poem.

This is a great poem, I love the description especially:

"They see what we really are
And raise humanities bar."

Those two lines ring very true with our society.. If only we could have the senses and not take for granted the little things that blind people do not. This was very good! Keep Writing!

The senses of the blind are far stronger then a regular man. I knew few blind people in my life. One was a great writer. You wrote a excellent poem.
