The Notes You Play

The Notes You Play

A Poem by LivingDeath
"

To my old friend Shenna. I gave her the inspiration to play music when before she said she could never and now shes surpassed me :)

"

The notes you play

day by day

leave me in dismay.

How great you've become

at an age so young

and with it how you're having fun.

I gave you the inspiration

now you've become my admiration

how you try without hesitation.

When you strum those strings

the feeling it brings

are like I'm flying on the angels wings.

I hope to see you soon

so we could play our notes in tune

underneath the nights white stars and the glimmering moon.

Never say you cant do something. My friend said she would never be able to play guitar or piano and now after giving her the inspiration she needed and showed her she actually could, she plays like you wouldnt believe.

And in the end the teacher becomes the student. This poem proves that she is very lucky to have a friend like you. Nicely done.
