Brother

To my brothers.

You brightened my life when you came into our world

I looked you in the eyes and called you my brother.

 

I told you I'd be there for you

by your side

whenever you needed me

just because I love you.

 

Though you're a pain at times

I would miss that pain if it ever left.

 

We share many memories

memories I will cherish till my dying day

memories I will cherish because we'll be together in them.

 

You are growing up

getting older, wiser with each and every day

and soon you will realize you mean the world to me.

 

I will watch you grow into a man

as you follow your lifes dreams.

I will stand right by your side

helping you along this bumpy road called life.

I will always be here for you

as a brother and a friend

whenever you need me

because I love you, My Brother.

Very Sweet.

I definitely feel the same way about my older brother and younger sister...i'll always be there for them and love them lots. I'm not sure if they know it or not, but I look up to, and admire them both!
The relationship between siblings is really a bond that lasts forever.

Wow...I actually cried a little bit while reading this... My brothers are a total pain but I cant imagine life without them. I even hate them at times but...I love them at the same time. I have an older brother and younger brother. I never tell them I love them, it seems foreign to me, but I know they know I care.

Sometimes we don't say things like this enough and I think this poem is a great way for them to know how grateful you are to have them in your life. It reminded me of my brother as I was reading this, he's older and growing up we were constantly at each others throats, but at the end of the day I always knew we would be there for each other. Another great piece. I love how it is heartfelt and has raw emotion. Nicely done.

I love this poem. It's a true dedication to everything a sibling is to their brother. I know it touched my heart, having a younger brother myself. I could feel myself subconciously agreeing to every line. Great work, as usual :)
