Friends are Forever

A good friend of mine just past away so i wrote this for her.

They said friends are forever

and i just found out it is all a lie,

now these tears i cry are tears of sadness

why did you have to die.

Friends were spose to last forever

so why God why did she have to die.

I don't regret having you as a friend

but i do regret not being there when i should have

not telling you how much of a friend you were to me

i regret not saying goodbye.

Tonight i cry but i have to remember

your in a better place,

a place where the sorrows i feel

do not exist,

the tears i cry

never fall,

and the friendship we had

will always last.

Friends are Forever

through the memories in the past.

 

R.I.P   Ashley you were an amazing friend, i will never forget you.

First off I'm so sorry and I'm not going to say for your lose because to me that just doesn't seem right, but sorry for the pain you feel. This is beautifully written and you could tell that you were good friends. You might not have said all that you would've wanted to but with friends I feel like you don't need to. A friend knows and that is what makes a friendship so great. Like being able to sit with them for hours without uttering a single word but some how it turns out to be the best day ever. The lines:
"and the friendship we had
will always last.
Friends are Forever
through the memories in the past."
