You and Me

You and Me

A Poem by Chloe Christine
"

PERFECT 10, 9, 10, 5 :D

"
Standing in a crowd, looking through spaces,
walking through the streets filled with faces.
All the while, in the weirdest places,
all I see is you.

Together in the world, miles apart,
oh so far away but close at heart,
loving distant, but never part
all I'd need is you.

Its needless to say,  nothing will stop this,
do anything to get one more kiss,
parted by crowds of strangers, stuck in bliss,
all I want is you.

Its you and me,  just us against the world,
let the trouble come,  hate unfurled,
but no matter what,  our two lives whirled,
all I see is you.

Author's Note

Chloe Christine
I was listening to music, and the song You and Me by Lifehouse came on.
I started thinking, and I actually really realized the meaning (or my own meaning) of you and me. Agree?

I don't know the song, but the meaning of "us" is well transported. I also love the ryhthm of this poem. It is really melodic and a could imagine it being a song itself.
