Is It Bad?

Is It Bad?

A Poem by Chloe Christine

Is it bad,

to be devoted to someone,

who's devoted to you?

But everything you hear outside,

people don't believe in two?

Is it bad,

to disagree with everything they say,

everything you hear,

and believe that you are to him,

something he finds so dear?

Is it bad,

to have so much trust in someone,

that'd you give your all,

too show them how much they have,

the ability to let you fall?

Is it bad,

to think you're safe,

from every danger,

when it's one person,

who holds your life together?

I guess I'm bad.

You're the one I trust.

I'll love til death,

and I'll be with you,

I swear, until I take my last breath.

I really like how realistic it is. I read this and it really struck a chord because I'm feeling that way now.
I like how concise it is-- you're using one word when someone else would use 10 and it's awesome.

wonderful

I think it could apply to different kinds of relationships, but how i interpreted it was like.. someone is dating a person their friends dont like/warned them about. Though, the girl is in love and trusts her partner with everything she has. She's willing to risk it all for him/her because she/he loves them so much. It's kind of hard to explain my thoughts on this, but i love it :) Wonderful.
