Mother and Daughter.

Mother and Daughter.

A Poem by Chloe Christine
"

Amanda Jaynes-If you ever get to read this, I love youu. Your my best friend. I'm here for you, despite what your mother says. I'll have your back, thorugh thick AND thin(:

"

It makes me think,

Always wonder.

What kind of times,

People have with their mothers

Mine are no good.

Just so sad.

To think of the times,

We could have had.

To cry over it,

Know that the choice,

Was one to cry over,

No reason to rejoice.

My mother's disappointment.

The disbelief in her eyes,

Standing so silet,

Uncovered lies.

I know I was wrong,

I'm just too young.

I knew I couldn't hadle it,

The realization stung.

Bu she owns more,

Deep inside.

I know how she feels,

Though she continues to lie.

Love is the word,

She uses to tell,

The excuse for my world,

Turning to hell.

She says she cares.

But I know better,

Too fall for the lie again.

Too figure out how bitter.

I can't set my mind,

Too even know,

Why she can't love me.

Or let it show.

I lost my mother,

In mind and heart.

I wish she cared,

The she killed a big part.

She took my freedom,

Swallowed my pride,

She made me regret,

And want to hide.

I'm scared to be here,

All alone.

Because we made mistakes,

And let each other go.

Thank-You Chelsea.
I agree with you 100%.
My friend, she is getting into alot of trouble lately.
She has gotten arrested twice in a week..
I don't know how to help her, she won't listen too reason.
Her mom, this poem is about her and Amanda, they are drifting further than my mother and I.
It's a really hard thing to over-come. I ruined my mom's realtionship with me.
And she ruined hers. But her mom, was horrid before any of this. Now her mother is becoming more and more...LOUD. Amanda storms out of the house ALL the time. This poem is dedicated to her mother. To help her just..LEARN how to LOVE and CHARISH your offspring. I love Amanda, but she holds blame in this too.

Though this is very sad, i like it.
I like it for multiple reasons: I can relate to thid BIG TIME, i like how you made it rhyme, & it made me think.
To the person below me (impulsive615), i'm glad you have a good relationship with your mother, but sometimes that isn't always the case, and we have to find someone else to trust. Very difficult. Especially when your moms SUPPOSED to be the one you can trust, and she keeps letting you down over and over and over again. It's truely sad. I wish i knew what was going on with mothers today, and why they're acting like this. Nice job.

If you can't trust your mother who can you trust? Beautifully written.
