Life Is A Prison

It's about nothing really. Just life. From experience. Written at 3:21 a.m. :) Enjoy? Review. Ohh. and this was ispired by a good poet-Puff-and their poem also titled Life Is A Prison.

.Life Is A Prison.

 Life with the bars,

The Restriction in place.

And everyone gone,

Not One smiling face.

 

If you set Expectations

You'll just be let down.

So forget it all

And get used to a Frown.

 

If you wish for a Rainbow,

All you'll get is the Rain.

It's sadness that comes

Not a single gain.

 

So how do you live

With so much Loath?

You hide it inside,

But beware-it Explodes.

 

You are a time Bomb.

With sadness risen.

What can you say..

This life is a Prison?.

Well my grammar sucks so i notced nothing but the words.
And well i like it. My fave line was
" If you wish for a Rainbow,

All you'll get is the Rain. "

Something about it, i'm not sure what but i loved that.
I see more the mind as a prison and like is the court yard.
But yeah thats just me.

Wow. You are a very talented writer!
I can relate to this. You're right too, sometimes if you set expectations all that happens is you get let down.
Also that if you keep things hidden inside you are like a bomb [ i love how you related that ]. Everything continues to add on and build until you cant take it anymore and you explode.
