Torn,

Every week your heart still yearns!

 

Do you know what you came for?

 

Waiting,

Watching,

Wondering,

When will your time come?

 

Is it him that you came for?

 

Are you seeking Him?

Are you ignoring His call?

Are you even longing to be in His arms?

Is he standing there and you're not noticing Him at all?

 

Really are you getting what you came for?

 

Did you blame the way the worship team sang that song?

Or is it the usher who sat you where you didn't think you belonged?

Wait it was the way the Pastor preached; was his sermon just too long?

Do you even know your purpose in the Kingdom of the Most High?

 

Now tell me did you get what you came for?

 

Is it him that you came for?

Do you know what you came for?

Really? Are you getting what you came for?

I'll ask you again, did you get what you came for?

 

God is asking, "Is it I that you came for?"

 

The God Of Love,

The God Of Healing,

The God Of Forgiveness,

The God Of Mercy,

The God Of Patience,

The God Of Peace,

The God Of Deliverance,

 

How can you come and leave and not get what you came for?

 

Do you not know how great God is?

Do you not know of his miracles?

Has he been your shelter in a storm?

Has he been your father or your mother?

 

Why would you let the world come between what you came for?

 

Is them that you're here for?

Is it them that you'd rather adore?

Is it them that's your Savior?

Tell me what the people of the world have to offer?

 

Can you see whom it is you came for?

 

He just wants to give you what you came for!

Are you willing to receive what you came for?

Do you believe He will give you what you came for?

All He wants to know is did you get what you came for?

 

Don't leave the Lord's presence and not get what you came for!
