Let Me Introduce You...

Let Me Introduce You...

A Poem by Monique Jackson
"

At times you have to put people in their place.

"

How many times?

How many ways?

How many days will we play these games?

G.A.M.E.S.

Getting

A

Monique

Enraged

Slicing

My words cut like a diamond

My words can be your death

My words can make you hate

Killing your mind

Stripping your pride

Nothing left but the sheep's clothing you call a Man!

You want to be mines again

Too little, too late

Not being on your job

Now that was your biggest mistake

You're worried about who took your place

While we're sitting back laughing

Too bad it's not in your face!

I'm mean, I'm rude, and my heart is cold

Those were the words you spoke

Funny it's not stopping you

You're still blowing up my phone

I moved on

You can't let go

Get it in your head

I don't want you anymore

Realize this and let it sink deep

Look at me then look at you

I mean did you really think?

Sweetheart you barely made it in!

Downgrade from my upgrade?

Boy, you need to get off that stuff you smoking

Straight up hallucinating illusions of an us

You must have been thinking while you were drunk

So, don't waste your time thinking you love me

My other half holds the key to that love door

And I seriously doubt he is giving up to you

Especially, since he got a taste of what you didn't explore!

Take it as I'm venting

Really I'm only relaying

I don't know who you thought you were dealing with

But Hello, my name is Monique now consider yourself dismissed!
