Arkward hug

Arkward hug

A Poem by Lauren..

If you see your crush across the room of a place you have to take a double take,
You don’t want to call out the wrong name,
It might have been years since you seen them,
Your crush embraces you in a bear hug but you don’t want to embrace them back,
They keep on walking so you shout louder,
They smile at you,
A million questions start to frizzle up onto the surface,
Like what is your occupation,
Like if you have kids,
Forbidden answers,
Don’t ask them for pictures let them offer them to you,
You talk for hours you swear that your watch has stopped,
The conversation has to end sometime,
You try not to cry after the awkward moment concludes,
You have to be strong and you hope that you don’t have to do that again soon.
