A poem about responsibility and pet care

Pets don’t want to be cooped up in a pet store forever,

Kids say they will take responsibility for their pets until the real work begins,

Not every pet has the same needs,

They all need to have food and water,

A hamster doesn’t need as much responsibility as a dog or cat,

You have to make sure that you are cleaning the cage every few days so that it doesn’t smell like your garbage can,

A dog will be needed to go out for walks so you will need to take bags to pick up thier surprises with,

It is not the parents responsibility to clean up after your pets it’s a great way for the child to learn responsibility now and when they get older.
