Blindfolded

Blindfolded

A Poem by Lauren..

When you drive you have to keep your hands at ten and two,

This poem is not about driving,

Driving isn’t the only thing that you can do with two hands,

Musically you have to have two hands to play the piano,

Musicians have to see the words on the page,

People take their sight for granted,

But what if you can’t see anything at all,

They have to guess where they would place their hands on the piano,,

It is just like in the game of twister you can’t predict what your body would do if the same body part was called out.

I wonder if Stevie Wonder ever questioned his ability to make music due to his disability,

He wouldn’t be where he is today if he gave up on his dream,

New technology is developing to ensure future plans.
