What makes a home safe,

Parents say I love you when you get home from school,

Parents who take a interest in your after school activities,

Parents who want to help them with their homework,

Parents who put food on the table and give them everything they need to succeed in life,

Some kids don’t get a hug or a I love you,

Some parents want to be bad parents,

Kids have to do their homework on their own,

A teacher can’t be a teacher and a parent because it’s hard to separate the two,

A parent who leaves the lights off and doesn’t have the money to pay the bills and sleeps on the couch with a bottle is not a responsible parent,

Kids have doubts when they don’t see their parents at their social events,

Kids who are in foster care dream of being able to stay in one place forever instead of having to pack their things to find out that they have to leave again,

I tell my parents that I love them everyday because there isn’t a enough love to go around.
