Before and after school

A lot goes on behind the scenes even after the school days ended.

Summer is short as it is,

Teachers have to start back at school to prepare their classroom for the new year,

Teachers are not the only ones who have to be ready janitors too,

They have to move things around to on carts to accommodate heavier equipment,

The school is cleaner now but as the school begins it will become a bigger problem,

Kids don’t clean up after themselves,

Who knows what can be spilled on the floor,

I hope they get paid good wages for the hard work that they do because not enough kids show their appreciation these days.
