Oh the agony

Oh the agony

A Poem by Lauren..

I’m not trying to be dramatic here but people need to stop sticking their noses where they don’t belong,

Death is not a easy thing to deal with,

People put on their headphones playing like the world goes on,

The world will go on someday but it’s going to take time for the puzzle of the heart to be put together again,

People dread going through their loved one’s things but it’s got to happen eventually,

The heart will be broken until it gets to be sewn together again,

There’s so many ways to go out of this world,

So before you go anywhere tell the people that mean the most to you that you love them because you might not get to see them again.

So true. I tell those I love all the time I love them. I learned the hard way. I didn’t tell my Dad what he meant to me, he died suddenly over thirty years ago now. I’m sure he knew, but I do wish I could have said those words to him. Your poem resonated with me Lauren.

Losing those close to us is really hard to negotiate.
At my age I have lost many friends and family members...
WE cannot replace them and can only hope we let them know enough just how much they meant to us.
Your last line is so true...we must let them know before we have to let them go.

I like this, it is raw and deals with the hard subject of death.

Death should be taken very seriously especially when your heart is broken...one needs time to process... the thought after of going through one's wardrobe and taking away is traumatic... yet must be done...it is part of the process of grieving.... as you say, many ways to leave this earth.... make sure you tell those close to you that you love them, before they pass.... heartfelt....

I lost both my father and my mother. I know the feeling well. Your advice is well worth telling and good on you for telling it.

Death is never easy no matter the circumstances. That is a topic I have an extremely hard time writing about. And typically I don’t.

This is a great way to get ou thoughts and emotions and to tell the world how you think and feel
