Dark Skies

Dark Skies

A Poem by Rachel

When the day feels lonely and the sky looks dark, I pray some way that the sun dissipates the dark. What a lonely day to feel the clouds take over for I have seen enough clouds, felt enough rain, seen enough thunder.

Lovely words Rachel. May I offer you a suggestion? I think if you changed the layout of your words, they would have far greater impact. Try creating some little stanzas, such as:

When the day feels lonely
and the sky looks dark,
I pray some way that the sun's warm rays
dissipate the dark

It is easier on the eye of the reader. It is of courser totally up to you what you do. I am just looking on it from the point of view of the reader. Your words are quite lovely as they are. Over to you.
