Moses and I

Moses and I

A Poem by Little Blue
"

And here is a perfect example of my oddity.

"
The dancer smiles,
She runs rainbow fingers,
Through rainbow hair,
A faceless bee,
Bumbles at the podium,
Buzzing facts to numb ears,
We don't care,
A caste system of ceiling tiles,
Captures my attention,
The clever brute,
Measures his homework,
In meticulous lines,
The centimeters slumber,
The children drift,
Beyond palace walls,
To fluorescent halls,
I'm hungry for hues,
I'm fed stoic sketches,
And replicated torture,
Cryptic tennis shoe etches,
Charts,
Caged words,
It's inhumane,
I protest,
Mr. Wilson,
Let my people go!!

Are we getting bored and restless in class? I like this, I dont find it odd at all either. I find it to be a nice daydream while in class...escaping from the boring day in and day out of school work.

I like this.

not odd at all, I tend to boil things down to the bare bones, not sure you need all of it, the last five or six lines are very clever, definitely keepers :)

I wish people would stop using words like "unique" and "different" to describe me. Let's face it; I'm odd. Sugar coating my oddity isn't going to make it go away. I enjoy my thoughts and their fleetin.. more..
