of words, At low tide she weeps, Quiet, Low, Sobs, The lace of her blue, Skirts billow past, His face, The face of a world, That’s been, Hurt, Lost, Scarred, Her breath floats, Over him like mist, He knows she’s there, He feels, He tastes, He loves, Her very essence, Her heat shimmer hair, And sad reflective
eyes, The moon, Her soul, Has her reaching, Pleading, Roaring, Back to him, She relieves his, Pain, If only for a while, He’s beautiful, And clean, They’ll dance forever, To memories, In musical time, They spin, They fly, They sprawl, Into a sidestepping, Waltz, Soon though they’re
time, Is up, She leaves once again, Giving him one, Last cool touch, “Come, Leave, Be, With me love, My world was, Made for you, Always my offer
stands.” He tries, He reaches, He cries, But his place is here, Not there, Here in the blistering
sun, And forever trampled, Is he, She knows and she
grieves, She screams, She pulls, She misses, Him until high tide
