Scene
Imagine a castle. A rich castle surrounded by the pure green country side and misty weather of England. The castle is located on the outskirts of London. Canadian geese fly over and you can hear birds in the background that accompany you for the day. Right got it, let’s move on.

Welcome Eva Marcellus
In this castle lives a young lady, her name is Eva Marcellus She is 22 years of age with winding long brunette hair and pale skin and piercing hazel eyes. Eva isn’t happy and although she tries to hide it you can see the scream for help in her eyes. She’s getting married in a few weeks and obviously doesn’t want to marry this rich pig of a man. Eva’s father cannot see this though and thinks the world of this barbaric human being. According to her father she must marry him to keep her rich heritage. Eva’s father lay in his warm bed, he’s currently ill. Very ill and deep down Eva knows he hasn’t got long left; her father wants to see her get married, but does that mean she can be happy as well?

So let’s tell you about her father shall we?
...or does something play on your mind, her mother? Well let’s get to the juicy part then...

Cora Marcellus
Here’s the mother of Eva; Cora had long red hair and the beautiful hazel eyes which Eva has. Cora is a very good skilful witch, and she was one of the kindest people in the surrounding rich area which she lived. She loved the London market, and adored the atmosphere of a non rich one. She never asked to marry into a castle and money, but she followed her heart. It doesn’t matter much though because her husband (Eva’s dad) loved Cora for being different and different she was.
Unfortunately Cora died when Eva was 2 years of age. She died from an illness that hunted and killed the woman in her family one by one. Her mother, her sister. It’s all the same, same illness, and they had all died in their 20's weather that being middle or early 20's. They never knew where this curse had come from but none of the magic they tried worked on it, how would they ever break this curse?

Cora had an amazing friend, a friend that not many people knew about. Hidden in the maze gardens of this castle was something amazing...

Here enters Angust.
By day he’s the gardener whom no one know about, by night he’s a strange un vicious vampire whom desperately wonders if there is in fact more to his life, or why has his life come to this, why is her what he is or where he is, nothing fits together or makes sense anymore. He confided in Cora for many years and he knew she was a witch and she knew he was a vampire, and in a way they created a bond for being different and a bond to be proud of whom you are. Whatever you are. So Angust is a gardener to anyone whom asks him but Cora’s husband does not know about this gardener. Angust has watched Eva grow up; playing round the maze garden and Eva hears a giggle. It’s Angust, hiding so that he cannot be seen but he then realises he laughed, he’s happy. Happy for himself and happy for Eva. He won’t let no harm come to Eva, not that she’s aware of him surrounding her like a metal barrier but there was one incident she won’t forget. Eva’s fell in the castle pond when she was 4 years old, she would have drowned if Angust hadn’t been protecting her. She was rescued (0bviously) but Angust is supernatural, he can move fast so soon as she touched the water she was thrown up into the air and landed gracefully on the grass under a cherry blossom tree near the pond. She never knew what happened for sure, but for some reason she knew she was safe.
As Eva grew up she had a passion for writing and would write under the same cherry blossom tree near the castle pond until the sun went down. Another story would be that when she was 16 she dropped her story in the pond by mistake due to the castle dog; Tolly. She attempted to get it back but she knew she'd never see it again until the next morning when walking Tolly. Down by the side of the Cherry blossom tree laid her beloved story. Rescued, just like her.
So why was Angust doing this?
Cora ordered Angust as a loyal friend to watch over Eva when Cora’s turn to die came up on the books. Angust offered to turn Cora into a vampire but she declined knowing she could never handle being a vampire because she could see the struggle everyday in Angusts' eyes and she could never be a mother to Eva that way. Cora knew the illness would be passed on to Eva and asked Angust to keep Eva safe with whatever mean necessary. Angust calls back to Cora after she says that with "Do you want me to change her?" But nothings simple and a guard enters the garden so Cora pushes Angust way and runs saying "You'll know what to do when the time is right"


Francis Marcellus
Francis knows Eva is the double of her mother but he’s stubborn and doesn’t want Eva to have nothing to do with magic. He always thought that magic took the mystery out of life. He also though that because of magic, that it was the reason they had a dreaded illness running through their side of the family like a live vein. He says you should never mess with that kind of stuff. And he means it.
Francis although stubborn is a kind hearted man whom loves the rich culture but thrives on writing journals, in which Eva gets the gift of writing from him. He now has had an illness for a while and Eva has been told that he’s deteriorating and he may not last as long as they all thought. Francis knows he’s fading, and he needs to see his daughter on her wedding day before he goes. But could Francis be right, could the illness be down to magic?
