I wont Miss you (Or will I)

I wont Miss you (Or will I)

A Poem by Little Amy Lee

If I could run

I'd go right now,

Pack all my stuff

And run out of town,

Trough the feilds

To the road,

But I'd never go back

Go back home

You'd say "come back"

"My baby girl",

"You're my everything"

"You're my world",

But I knew

It was all a lie,

That you wont miss me this time

You would be the one who knew,

Now and forever

I wont miss you

Now I'm here,

Out of the way

With the wind to guide me,

To make me stay

Away from you,

Standing on the egde of the road

I whisper, "Im never going home",

You'd say "come back"

"My baby girl",

"You're my everything"

"You're my world",

But I knew

It was all a lie,

That you wont miss me this time

You would be the one who knew,

Now and forever

I wont miss you

Its raining tonight.

The tears keep falling,

Im scared tonight

But I keep my fears in,

Since I'm away from you

You'd say "come back"

"My baby girl",

"You're my everything"

"You're my world",

But I knew

It was all a lie,

That you wont miss me this time

You would be the one who knew,

Now and forever

I wont miss you,

Suddenly I spot a face

A face I know,

You open you're warm arms

And grab me, not letting me go,

You say you love me

And that sometimes I'm wrong,

And that you've loved me all along

Tears fall from my eyes on this night like no other,

As I found out I actually love my mother!

I agree with 'just a writer'. Wonderful poem, exceptionally written, love it.

This is a super poem! I like the repetitive stanza, it adds to the general beat. It's funny how most people probably assumed that through the whole poem you were talking about a boyfriend, but in the end it was a mother. You might want to work on the way you space your lines, some of it seemed a bit choppy.
