Pippa turned frantically to Ross.
"Summertime again"
She smiled a beautiful and excited smile.
Ross was kind and very handsome, his black hair over lapped his green eyes.
Pippa was glad to have someone like Ross in her life.
They had been going steady for about a month now.
As they walked down the cold, dark street they held hands.
Ross's eyes seemed to glow dark at night.
"What have we got planned for this summer then Pips?"
Pippa glanced up at Ross, her light layered long hair glistening in the street lights as they passed them.
Her eyes dark, her skin pale apart from her cheeks which were blushed with pink highlights.
"I would say the beach if we had one here"
With a sigh she looked down at the cemented pavement.
"What do you plan on doing?"
He gave Pippa a friendly smile.
"The usual, you know, eating, sleeping"
Pippa laughed.
Ross was always sleeping, he would call one o'clock in the afternoon early.
Pippa could never take him seriously.
"I thought you were planning on getting a job this summer?"
Ross looked ahead at the long dark road that seemed to go on for miles.
"That was my first plan"
Ross paused and sighed.
"But no one will employ me.
Let’s be realistic about it!"
Pippa and Ross came to a property, a small dark bungalow surrounded and smothered in bushes.
It looked old but it was warm and welcoming inside.
And it was the place Pippa called home.
Letting go of Ross’s warm hand she looked at him.
"The mall tomorrow then?
“Nine o'clock sharp”
“Pick me up here"
Pippa grinned.
"And don’t be late!"
Brushing his hair from his eyes with his now free hand Ross smiled.
"I'll be here!"
Pippa stood on her tip toes and gave Ross a long romantic kiss on the lips before entering her warm little home.
Ross only lived a few blocks away, this was a daily routine to walk Pippa home now so he was used to it.

The mall lights always made Pippa dizzy and as always it was busy again.
People as usual were always in a rush to get everywhere at once.
Ross was stood in the CD store scanning through the rock section.
He was dressed in black jeans and a white hoody.
His hair was let down as usual.
His piercing green eyes were almost as bright as the lights in the mall.
Ross came running over to Pippa who was stood waiting for her best friend Marie-Anne to arrive.
She was wearing tight jeans and red jumper.
Ross thought she looked gorgeous as usual.
"You'll never guess what?"
Ross stamped his feet to make a scene.
Pippa was constantly searching the mall for her best friend.
"What?"
Ross included himself in the search for Marie-Anne now looking completely everywhere.
"They don't have the album I wanted; Marie-Anne is over there by the way”
Who’s that she’s with?"
Marie-Anne stood with her back to Pippa and Ross; she was stood with a boy.
They were looking at clothes together.
Pippa looked over and then looked at Ross.
"That’s weird"
Ross's eyes were stuck on Marie-Anne and her mystery friend.
"You're telling me!"
Pippa's eyebrows began to dip.
"Should we go say hi?"
Ross shrugged his shoulders and looked at Pippa.
"Don't ask me, I'm not her best friend!"
Pippa gave a sigh and began to make her way over to Marie-Anne.
Marie-Anne’s hair was vibrant crimson red and set in long ringlets, every strand shone like red cherries, reflecting on all the shop windows as she shuffled past them.
She had lovely tanned skin and green emerald eyes.
She always looked pretty in whatever she wore and on this day she looked stunning.
She wore a white turtle neck t-shirt with light blue denim skirt, with a green scarf wrapped neatly around her rich tanned neck.
It brings out her eyes thought Pippa making her way over.
Marie-Anne turned around like lightening.
"Hey Pippa, we were just coming to find you"
Pippa’s eyes turned to the mystery boy, his eyes were blue and his hair was a medium length golden blonde.
He had a gorgeous smile that sent vibes through her body.
"Pippa I'd like you to meet Doug, he’s new here”
“He just bought a shop in town for his business"
Pippa was amazed, he looked about her age and already had his own business?
"So what’s your business?"
"I have my own clothing company, Bright Sparks' clothing"
Pippa's mouth dropped.
"Oh my god I love your clothes!"
Marie-Anne made eye contact with Pippa.
"You've heard of the label then?"
"Of course I have, who hasn't?"
Pippa said smiling.
"Nice to meet you anyway Doug, you two want to grab something to eat with me and Ross?"
Doug looked around.
"Ross?"
"Oh, Ross is my boyfriend"
Pippa explained turning round to get Ross to join them.
Marie-Anne smiled.
"How about that bite to eat then?"
The burger bar was packed in the mall, plates, cups, saucers clashing every two minutes.
A table in the corner seated four and when they sat down Pippa and Ross faced Doug and Marie-Anne.
Doug seemed like a nice guy, he and Ross really got along, they had so much in common.
Pippa could tell that Marie-Anne took a great liking to Doug.
She could tell by the way she gazed into his eyes without him knowing.
They each ate a burger and felt entirely stuffed straight afterwards.
Half an hour had gone and they were still chattering away.
Doug smiled while stacking the empty plates upon the table.
"I’m looking into decorating the place up now"
"What do you need doing?"
Marie-Anne asked handing over her empty plate.
"Oh just some everyday jobs, painting, mirrors putting in and clothes racks and, stuff like that.
Pippa jolted, her blue eyes popped out of her skull in amazement.
"Why don't we help you?”
“It can’t be that hard can it?"
Ross agreed with Pippa.
"I don't mind, I'm up for it"
Doug's face looked unsure he looked round at everyone.
"Sure yeah, I mean I'd like that, thanks"
Pippa walked into the shop followed by Ross and Marie-Anne they could smell the fresh new scent.
They had entered a white room; it was large and spacious with windows as big as doors.
Doug stepped out from another room with a roller covered in bright yellow paint it reminded Pippa of a lemon, she let out a little giggle and walked slowly towards him.
"What are you up to?”
“I'm loving the colour!"
Doug placed the roller back into the tray and wiped his hand with a cloth which hung from his back pocket.
"Well guys this is the dressing room, the very bright dressing room!"
Everyone started painting the main room a pure emerald green.
Doug suddenly leapt up in fright as his phone began to ring.
"Hello?”
“Great. I'll be there Thank you, bye!"
Everyone’s eyes burned a hole through Doug, but not a word came from any of them.
"Before you ask, it was the mirror company, they said I can go pick up the mirrors. Its only up the road will you guys be alright here while I go?"
Ross nodded giving a thumbs up.
Doug grabbed his coat and was on his way.
The traffic was busy, so it was a good thing that the mirror company was only a few blocks away.
Doug turned his tunes up high.
A blue Renault Cleo hummed behind him as he waited at a red light.
Tapping urgently on the wheel Doug became impatient.
"Oh come on, for god sake!"
The light suddenly turned green.
"Finally"
Doug gained the speed of about forty miles per hour.
However, the blue Renault was on his trail.
The driver was not in view as the hood was up on his hoody and it lay over his face tightly.
"I wonder how he see's?" Doug thought.
They were hitting another street now and the Renault was still there.
It had tried to take over him at one point but didn't succeed.
The car was on his right hand side now and all of a sudden the drivers face came in view.
Doug’s mouth dropped.
Violently the car banged into the right hand side of Doug’s, with increasing force every time.
Doug’s breathing increased rapidly.
"Go away, stop. Back off!"
It wasn’t going to stop. BANG, CRASH.
The noises echoed in Doug’s head sending shivers throughout his body.
Then a mighty thud came like a flash of lightening, and again, and again.
Doug’s vision went black as he lay not knowing what would happen next, unable to move.

It doesn't read like a complete story. Is this a beginning of a longer story? It is kinda confusing that it starts with Pippa and ends with Doug.
