Snow FlowerA Poem by Karina Longo. Not even a rainy day could wash these thoughts away How can a fragile rose survive in a grass made of
snow? Pink little petals, this is my heart Slowly dying, iced cold memories
But can you save me, you can; I wonder, can you? Nobody can, but you aren’t “nobody” - are you? Broken toys and broken girls Everybody loves to forget, goodbye my love And if you don’t mind, I’ll take the love with me
I’ve seen the moon today and it made me think of you So beautiful and so deceitful, irradiating strange
feelings Me, I’m so blue, I am so immensely blue - let me be the
sky So maybe you and I could be together forever - fearless eternity
But can you see me, you can; I wonder, can you? Nobody can, but you aren’t “nobody” - are you? Buried dreams and tired bones Everybody loves to go away, goodbye my love And if you don’t mind, I shall take the love with me… © 2012 Karina LongoFeatured Review
