LivingA Poem by Karina LongoSilly lil' rhyming poem.
I've been sitting forever
in the same place Having different sights, To the same colours, At different sizes What a trip, this is not LSD It's just ME I've been trying that mistake Over and over again I've been aging very well since the rage remains I've been using the words I despised when I was a child I've gained the right to be wrong And I should confess I've been practising it For quite a while I sell cliches and I do promise They are perfectly memorable Best to say what you already heard Than overdose on the importance of being idle Not all poems are pretty Not all girls are bitchy Not all boys will break your heart But all the humanity shall follow one little rule on the living path: You'll never know what you'll get so far © 2011 Karina LongoAuthor's Note
