![]() BirthA Poem by Karina Longo![]() Lyrics.![]() Happiness blows like a bold wild winter - all your loving was only for you Trust flowing like a cold sad river - I can see the reflections Of the same faces, the dead shapes of lies and despair I want to impress myself with other feelings than frustration and fear But please don't expect anything from me
If you can't take it, well, I couldn't take it Don't you see I'm paralized by fear Don't you see I've always been here With the same eyes looking to the silver pouring skies Close to nothing - we're all born to die
Accepting to survive by birth Maybe her most dangerous mistake She'd cry for the first time, naked to the world like a fragile little bird Unknown of the fate of crying again for the next several years Wearing a skin full of bruises - oh we praise the naked truth But we end up sleeping in the same bed as lies
And if you can't take it, well, I will take it Don't you see I'm still paralized by fear Don't see I've always been here With the same eyes looking to the biggest prize Escaping from insanity - yet rejecting sanity One sun one moon one day I'll rise and shine© 2011 Karina LongoFeatured Review
