SanitizedA Poem by Karina LongoOut of my comfort zone, Disintegrating
A solar
dream, near their origami-made, Ice thin
standards
Out of
breath, sinking in fresh air - Freedom out
of my cage, It makes me
feel like I am living Someone
else’s perfect dream
Kill her
again, and again So she will
not feel like Placing
herself six feet under
Kill her
again, and again So she will
fit in This
wonderful, sanitized disaster
Her black
hair - Already drowned
In her own Insane
