Someone Else's Soul

Someone Else's Soul

A Poem by Karina Longo
"

To my very special one.

"

The night moves slowly,

The moon shining closely,

Through your brown sugar eyes

To my special delight, hitting in

My haunted, fragile heart - which is yours to keep

Darkness dances and strips
The howling, most lovely kiss
I’m calling your name, I’m calling for you now
You’ve innocently bewitched me, with your sweet mystery
I’m destined to live and die for you, now

I close my eyes, here are your lips
Moving my arms, touching your hips
God bless the purity, the beauty in you
Our souls merge as one, you are me, I am you

You are my sweetest perfection,
My life, my elation, I’d kill
For this smile of yours
That could light up all this whole messed up town

I love you, did you really ever thought
That you’d mend someone’s heart
And own someone else’s soul?
Well, yes, I love you, I do
Did you really ever thought
That you’d kill the bad in me
That you’d be someone else’s God
And someone else’s mind control?
(Yes, I love you)

This was a real sort of sweet. It wasn't overly sugary, and the truth of your affection really shone. Thank you for sharing!
