TroublesA Poem by Kryptonite120613Walking through the hall I’m anything but tall, Being surrounded by couples, It stirs up troubles. As I think of us I try not to fuss, Remembering our love I do a quick shove, And duck into class Avoiding the mass, I sit in my chair And play with my hair As I go through old times Remembering our past crimes. As tears swell in my eyes As I remember you were just like the other guys. I wipe away the tears Remembering the wasted years, I look up at my teacher And smile like a creature As I have slowly driven myself insane, I feel no more pain, Why you might ask Explaining is such a hard task But through the wasted tears And music surging through my ears I know it’s not worth it The time has come to quit. Well there’s nothing left to say I’ve come to the end of my day Maybe it’s time to sleep But until then I’ll weep I am not as strong as I said Lies are mostly what you’ve read. Sorry for the lies I’m not all that wise, As good bye creeps upon us I must run and catch my bus But always remember my dear The words you have read here. © 2014 Kryptonite120613Reviews
