Lies

I was cleaning my room and found it and wanted to share it

You said no to me so you could focus on other things,

But you lied through your teeth. 

You really said no to me so you could be with her.

I'm not stupid.

You look at her Like you use to look at me

In front of my face! 

You ask me what's wrong

When tears are streaming down my face

I just shake me head and whisper "I'm fine".

I take my turn to lie to your face,

To act like my life is going how I want it to go. 

But it's not.

And it's partially your fault.

But I don't tell you that. 

I lie through my teeth so your life goes on,

The way you want your life to go on.
