Me plus you

Me plus you

A Poem by Kryptonite120613

I should tell you

The seasons of love,

Are nothing without you.

You'll see,

Another day,

That I'll cover you

So take me out tonight,

Maybe Over the moon,

Or just to Sante Fe.

But what you own,

Isn't for another day.

But Today.

So don't wait

Just because

Today's for you

Because tomorrow

I could be on

Life support.

And your eyes

Will tear as you say

"Goodbye Love"

I feel like this poem gives away a little too much in some of the stanzas. One stanza however, that I genuinely love and feel is beautiful is "So take me out tonight, / Maybe over the moon, / Or just to Sante Fe" Any other city in my mind and this stanza would lose its effect! How awesome is that? And it's this way purely from the sound of "Sante Fe." Beautiful stanza.
