Truth

Truth

A Poem by Paege
"

I was inspired by a corset. :P

"

"I-I..."

I try to choke the very next word

But each breath is a stab with a sword

My corset tugs against my rib cage

My every breath is by my bodys rage

The word that is needed, within despair

Is simple to whom you want to be there

If it was true it would be easy, you see

But not to a confused poor soul, like me.

Intense green eyes try to evoke

The one world that keeps earth afloat

He's been there always, without a doubt

But is that reason to scream and shout?

To say that word, no matter who hears

Is enough to put the strongest in tears

I knew i could do it, for i knew it was true

Now that i looked at an ocean so blue

He had taken me hear to this spot

To tell me the truth, the way he was taught.

I knew i could tell him the same words returned

But to do that was binding and my soul it burned

But my soul could shrivel and rear its head

But i would love him untill the day i was dead.

So looking at him with my eyes full of youth

"I love you." my words rang the truth.
