The third part to line Please can someone tell me how to add chapters to a book! I have no idea how to do it so have to add the parts as seperate stories!

"

“Movie night, over at mine? Friday night?” I ask.

“That's a great idea we haven't had one in ages I'll get the girls know and I'll bring the DVD's your taste in films is crap”

I don't even reply, Layla has always been straight talking no nonsense with a bit of a control freak within her. Which is why she was my first call, lazy me knew she'd do the rest.

“So that film was weird!” Layla picks up the remote I grab it from her as I get up to get a drink, I know she's about to chuck it at the TV

“Layla, you're the one who picked it.” Ruby replies all riled up for their post film debate.

“I know but why did she kill him at the end?”

“Duh because he was a terrorist and wanted to nuke innocent people.”

“Yeah but he was the love of her life and after all those years of separation she should have just like shot his leg if he had to...”

“Look if that's how the film writer wanted it that how it went...”

“Well the film writer is stupid if you ask me”

Me and Nuala just exchange glances. This happens every time we watch a film, a review dissing the film, the writers and everything in between. I don't even take part in the conversation. We just sit in silence for a few minutes as their conversation continues

“Okay then how about the titanic?”

“Ooh I loved that film”

“Why?”

“Because it was sooo romantic”

“Leo dies in too remember?”

“but that was a point in history he was always going to die”

“but some people survived”

“Right… if you say so”

That's a typical conversation between Layla and Ruby. Layla being the strange unreasonable one in that transcript.

It's time for Nuala to break her silence

“Hey guys you're just confusing each other and us two so shut up already!!”

Layla rolls her eyes and Ruby not liking American idioms pounces

“Oh my God we are not watching an American film again what’s with you saying ‘already’ all of the time?”

Nuala laughs

“One apologies and recommends watching 'Atonement'” She puts on an upper class English accent removing all trace of her Liverpudlian accent.

We're all silent at that. I was trying to think if I'd seen it and who was in it

“well has anyone seen it?” she asks

They all turn and look at me.

“There's death in it” I ruin the film.

Layla jumps up

“I know lets decided the film next week it’s getting late guys I need to get home and sleep!”

Now this is what I've been waiting for...

“why don’t you guys just sleep over? Hey what was that look!?” The three of them just glance at each over

“What look?” Ruby is using her calming voice

“That look you 3 just shared?”

The looks occurred again.

“Well honey…erm…” she's lost for words as glaces over at Nuala and Layla for help

“What you hate my house?” yes my feeling are beginning to get hurt, and my houses feelings, well they would if it had any!

“Oh noo we love your house but it’s a bit too creepy to sleep over in” that's Layla like you couldn't guess

“What?!” I'm still shocked

“What Layla meant was your house is big and old and…..”

“It scares us shitless” Layla just interrupts then she gasps and overs her mouth with her hands, she has no control over what she says sometimes. The other two glare at her.

“What? My house isn’t scary!” I argue

“Yeah while we're awake it’s not scary but we were talking about it a few months ago and….” Ruby cuts off again

“If we fall asleep here we have really weird dreams and wake up feeling weird man!” Layla is clearly over her shock of dissing my house so openly in front of me it would seem.

I still can't believe it

“What?! All three of you?”

“Yeah”

“Yes”

“Sorry hun but it’s happened to me too and I had no idea what it was until these two started talking about it and the common factor was your house”

“Started talking about what?”

“The weird dreams of course”

“What weird dreams?”

“Okay well you know how we went shopping while you went away for work?”

“Yeah…”

“Well we saw one of those dream analysis people”

“A dream analyst?”

“Yeah”

“We discovered we’ve all had the same dream at one point or the other and thought it was weird until we found out we’d been sleeping here on different days and dreamt the same thing.”

“Are you sure that one of you didn’t just describe it well that you all thought you had the same dream?”

“NO because the lady gave us a print out sheet and when we compared it was the same thing!”

“Okay well I think you guys are mad!”

“Look hun I’m sorry but I’ve really got to get home, we still on for dinner tomorrow at that new Italian place?” Ruby ask. Like I can say no so I nod.

“Well we better get going too, can you believe her car is still in the garage I’ve become her personal chauffeur!” Nuala is exasperated, Layla who never takes a hit lying down replied with

“well it’s not like you work or anything”

Ruby jumps in to make the peace, I turn away and spot something on the kitchen floor and realise that it's Ms Morgans card. I'm going to to her right now and I hope she's sleeping I think snidely.

“Okay girls get going I’ve got to make a call” I'm ready to kick them out and sleep all alone in my house.

They all stop squabbling and turn to look at me

“Did you just say you're going to make a call?” nosy Layla asks

“At this time?” Ruby joins in

“Spill... what's his name?” Nuala's eyes are glowing as she asks. She's been trying to set me up with someone for ages. I'm still scarred from my last relationship!

I roll me eyes and laugh

“No one just my dream analyst”

Well that pops their bubble. They laugh and leave, I wince at the amount of noise they make as they leave it's nearly 2 am, my poor neighbors. I'm looking at the ancient clock on my cooker as I dial Ms Morgans number snidely once again wishing it was later as the phone begins to ring.
