A Poem by LittleGlassWings

Its funny like walking into a place you don't know

Scary like the way your breath stops

Death walks on light feet running fast

Nothing to stop its coming fast

Night comes dream pass

Thoughts wander and we sit still

Things change when the morning comes

All the nights secrets all hidden before the rosy dawn

And the light reveals its own secrets

A thing the dark never does

It might share them on a moonbeam

Or hint them when the stars shine

It makes us wonder what does

But when the moon is gone

Hiding from our mistreating world

And the sun abandons us

And all the world collapses

At our bleeding, beaten feet

Will the wars with ourselves

And each other finally rest

Or will we fight on

And keep giving up on all the stuff that matters

To kill, die, betray and lie

Not our love or dreams will find us here

Or will we forget it all until

We ourselves do fall the the endless sorrow

Which is death

This is incredibly powerful... You put so much description into your poems so easily, I envy and I am in awe of you. Bravo!
