The Artist's Tongue

The Artist's Tongue

A Poem by LittleGlassWings

The artist's tongue speaks not

Through words or symbols

But through soft colors and rich emotions.

The artist’s fingers move not

From technical practice

But through memory and freedom.

The artist’s eyes see not

Forms of intricate details

But woven stories of forgotten times.

The artist’s body feels not,

The mind thinks not,

But the heart moves forward.

The artist does not make art,

The artist experiences art.

The artist's tongue is silent

But each whisper is heard a scream.
