Symphonies

Symphonies

A Poem by HopelessDreamer
"

Symphonies make me feel alright. But I never feel whole, instead I run into the night. Running away from everything that feels right.

"
These symphonies I write...
Give me false hope as I continue to fight.
Through pain and sorrow I search for a burning light.
A signal pleaing I make it through the night.

These symphonies I write...
Burn in my chest, struggling to ignite.
Struggling to help me escape this plight.

These symphonies I write...
They never feel right.
Through my tears I lose sight.
I battle with all my might.
Trying to find a place where I feel alright.

These symphonies I write...
Hold me tight.
As I cry into the night.
Praying to stop these symphonies that never feel right...

I struggle to write these symphonies.

Enjoyed the way you use the word symphonies in a wider sense, gives the poem a kind of big, epic quality that works well with your subject, good work.
