Autumn WeatherA Poem by AmatinaThe scenery only autumnal weather could provide me rolled by as I was whisked away. Some trees still full of their ambers, oranges, reds all dangling from their branches. The others left bare, waiting for winter to chill the air. I see them dotting the rolling hillsides of my adoptive home, as I continue forward while they stay rooted in place, only to sway with the wind. I settle in my seat, my breath fogging the glass I’m peering through. © 2012 Amatina |
