The day was sunnyA Poem by little-red penThe war in Syria left everything devestated.the pictures were heart breaking.here I have shown one such story of the war... I hope you like it . Do tell me in the reviews what you feel about it.
The day was sunny,
Sky blue grass green, The future of that city, No one had ever seen. A plane flew high, Zoom it loudly went, Children laughed in its shadow, Enjoying life without expense. Rage was steaming between nations, The fire was about to catch, With the signal of open fire , They finally opened the latch. The projectory was silent, But the boom was deafening, And in the blink of an eye, Heat melted flesh, bone and skin. One after the other, Like raindrops the bombs fell, People screamed as skin burned died a death like hell. After the bombing nothing was left, The colourful Rainbow now had turned red, Smoke and chaos was all around, The lovely blue sky had now turned black. Other cities were named, People ran for their lives, Refugee camps were made, When death stopped taking bribes. Houses turned to rubble, And schools ended midway, Whole cities turned to dust , And here hope had no ray. The bodies were left to rot, Some burned away with the wind, Some were deep within the earth, Now only death song was left to sing Amidst all this chaos A little boy hopelessly wept Sitting alone between two graves Where his mom dad silently slept. -LittleRedPen © 2019 little-red pen |
