The Frozen Eyes

Frosty truth about a beautiful blue eyed girl!

The blue eyes like the frozen lake
Dream of skating all night and day
At each dawn as the blue eyes open
The lake with its frost starts shimmer
The pretty little eyes look outside the window
To see the cold snowflakes making soft pillows
The crystal flakes shining like diamonds send a chill down the nerve
But still the eyes so reluctant to go out and feel the snow with a touch
The outside world is unaware of the gloomy environment in the eyes
But the chills and touch of the velvety snow make the eyes shine like the skies
She reaches the lake frozen for days now
And she wears her skates to glide over the frozen water some how
She hides her blue eyes behind her eyelids
As she begins to slide flowing with the wind
Flawlessly she hovers over the lake
Jumps and glides as if it were a piece of cake
Her smile shows a sense of great fun and joy
But in the mind she is aware that this dream could collapse any second like the city of troy
Then suddenly she hears the feet beneath her feet cracking
And she fell into the water with in a fraction of a second
She shouted for help and luckily help came her way
They saved her and took her home and lighted the fire with hay
They scolded her for going out into the snow all by her self
And they told her to feel thankful that she is safe as she could have died in this ice shelf
She did nothing but cry for her dreams had shattered again
She was a helpless bird without wings who wanted to fly but all in vain
Because she was blind and could not see
However beautiful her blue eyes may be…
