Save the Merry Go 'Round

Save the Merry Go 'Round

A Poem by Little Blue
"

About a loss of childhood innocence.

"

Stepping back to turn away

The symptom:

Empty merry-go-round

The paint has long since

Chipped to fade

Content to die in my veins

The cure still lies

To be unheard

As we race on melting time

The wind to stir the rust

Still lost

But the creak echoes on

Moving hands in fruitless vain

Stop the truth

Save the merry-go-round

Wow, I love the imagery! Paint chips and rust, both lost in hands. Good stuff
