I'm SorryA Poem by Little BirdieI'm sorry for hiding your strings.
I'm sorry I cannot form my words to the
swift heartfelt strums of your guitar. I'm sorry I can't find the perfect way to describe your figure staring at me intently from across the room in silent delight and eyes shimmering like sunlit sea surface. I'm sorry I find all the verses of my poems unworthy of your smile. I'm sorry for staining every single of your music sheets and carefully written out notes with my tears every time you sing. I'm sorry for hiding your strings in a dash of jealousy. I'm sorry for not being able to look into your eyes every new day and realise how can you smile so sincerely, throughout the worst of storms. © 2012 Little BirdieReviews
