AlexA Poem by Little BirdieYour brown eyes sparkle.
You arch like Arc de Triomphe
and I find your confused existence too sweet to hate. You're my victory and defeat, grind your love into my subconscious, faulting my mind with your purity. Your brown eyes sparkle. Protruding soul ever searching for fair ways. How can I not love you when your lips scream boundless piety, your hugs abolishing what the time made me, soothing me warmly throughout the night? In day's wake, you seize the sunrise with your imagination, sitting on the windowsill, void of ache that surrounds your past, guarding me with a smile that the Sun cannot compare to. How does God make something so beautiful and name it the protector of men? © 2012 Little BirdieReviews
