Unvoiced ClemencyA Poem by Little BirdieThe way I perceive you as you keep your step through my room slowly.Perhaps I misjudge you. The way I perceive you as you keep your step through my room slowly.
The dim light outlines you and for a moment I feel more grateful for your existence than I should.
And all I yearn for is your hug but I haven't possibly the strength to extend my arms towards you and show my weakness.
I can only assume your eyes are weary from the lack of sleep but determined as you fix them upon me. You smell of fresh, fallen rain.
At least you have the decency to give me the well-deserved hug as if sensing my emptiness and lay down to shield me from reality. © 2011 Little BirdieReviews
